Lights 2

The Reporter and her crew.

The Bridge News Reporter was a Female reporter reporting on the situation at one of the bridges leading to the yet overrun part of Tokonosu city.

Appearance[]

The Bridge Reporter

History[]

Not much is known about her past. Other than the fact that she worked for a news network and most likely is one of the regular broadcasters as she seems to know what she is doing and is able to remain calm while broadcasting.

Personality[]

She seems to be a dutiful person as even when the story she originally came to cover fell apart and was left behind when her network transferred to an offshore facility, she chose to continue reporting on what was happing. However, she isn't above a little workplace fun as she is seen holding up a peace sign to the photographer (most likely one of the news crew) while out reporting in her photo in the end credits. She also seems to be concerned about other people as she is genuinely is shocked at the death of the mother after her daughter became one of them.

Plot[]

Episode 06: In the DEAD of the night[]

She originally came to the bridge along with her four-person camera crew to report on the lockdown of the west area of Tokonosu city and the criticizing by the citizen of its effectiveness. However, because of the pandemic, she was unable to return to her headquarter before it was relocated out to sea. With no way to contact her superiors, she chooses to remain at the bridge and continue reporting on the situation.

Cut

The final signal

As the situation continued to get out of hand, an unknown group of protesters appeared at the bridge and started protesting both the government and police force for the supposed actions of unleashing this pandemic. The Reporter continued filming and explain the group's intentions until the screams of a dying woman caught both groups' attention. She stopped reporting briefly until the head of the police in charge of the blockade went to intervene against the protesters, the last bit of film they were able to broadcast was the shooting and death of the leader of the protest before the signal went dead most likely stopped by the police.

It is unknown what happened to her or her crew after this but due to the signal being lost right after the shooting, it is most likely there were forced to leave by the police or remained until the dead started to breach the barricade.

It is unknown whether she is still alive, although she was not seen at the bridge after the end credits, and was on the as of yet infected side of the bridge giving her a better chance of survival.
